somewhat by accident, i have started a little collection of champagne flutes. they are currently on display on our new living room shelves, and i love the delicate femininity they add to our more gender-neutral apartment.

one of the blogs i love, hip hip gin gin, touts that every day is a special occasion, and i am completely in agreement. why not have your cocktail in style, even if it's just a tuesday?
i like the idea of having sets of two or four in all different styles, and for my next acquisition i would love to find a set of coupes: very roaring twenties! there are a few great thrift shops near my office that frequently have beautiful glassware in the window, so i have been on the lookout!
