winter white

i love the pristine look of white in winter, and these two ladies certainly got it right! i have been dying to put together an outfit like this, but i am a teensy bit concerned about the potential for disaster given my rather lengthy commute and the many perils along the way: subways, coffee, dirt from brushing against the side of my car...

perhaps i will try it out instead on my vacation in florida: i have a great pair of white wide leg trousers found at marshalls a year or two ago, paired with a white top, some metallic sandals and a bright bag.

most of the pieces in this round-up are under $100, so you can replicate this look without substantial damage to your wallet (which is always a priority for me!)

also, i have a crush on that bag.
