summer in the city

happy friday!

first, thank you for all of the positive feedback on my 101 things in 1001 days list - i am looking forward to tackling some of them this summer, and will happily share my progress!

we're in for another steamy day around here, and i think i have gotten the hang of sauna-weather work attire!

here's a look at today's ensemble:

i have two knit sheath dresses, and it really is the best fabric for summer: thick enough to hide any lines, but still light enough to be cool and comfortable in the heat.

because let's be honest, who commutes in heels?

simple, classic silhouette, a pop of color on the nails, and a bit of a jewelry statement. 

hmmm, i might have to make the boyfriend come out for a friday night cocktail date to make the most of my efforts!
